"I got this recipe off recipegoldmine and I love it. It is my favorite "easy" banana bread. The texture is awesome too! Sometimes I add chocolate chips or white"

  1. Used 4 bananas. Substituted melted butter for oil. Added 1/2 cup flour since batter was a bit thin. Added 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Turned out great! Will definitely make again. ??

  2. Best banana bread ever. I tweaked the recipe by substituting banana cake mix and adding a box of banana pudding.

  3. Very versatile recipe which is yummy and moist! I used a spice cake mix with my 3 large overly ripe bananas and this was a hit! Skipped on nuts due to preference. Can't wait for another slice with a bit of butter. Thanks for sharing. Found and made for I Recommend Tag Game.

  4. This was so good. I used a reduced sugar yellow cake mix. I will make again for sure.

  5. Perfect just the way it is. We make it all the time with left over brown bananas and extra nuts. I make it in small aluminum loafs pans and freeze. My kids do it themselves no mess and 1 dish clean up. They just use a mixing spoon and that's all! We eat it toasted in the morning for a nutritious breakfast. Fresh or frozen it can not be beat.

  2. Thanks for the recipe. It tasted very good, everyone liked it. But it was like a banana cake instead of bread. I only had 3 large banana's. Maybe 2 more would have given it a denser texture. It was a hit<br/>just not what I was wanting. I will make again if I want banana cake.....they loved it. I put a little cream cheese frosting just on top...got great feed back on the good banana cake.

  3. I've made this twice now. The first time with a yellow cake mix, 4 medium bananas and I baked in 2 - 8 x 4 loaf pans. The loaves rose *very* high and took almost an hour to bake. I liked the texture, but the yellow cake mix flavor overwhelmed the banana flavor. The second time I used a vanilla cake mix, 4 large bananas and baked in 3 - 8 x 4 pans. This time the banana flavor came through and they were done in 35 minutes. The loaves obviously weren't as large, but that's ok. Next time I'm going to try 2 - 9 x 5 pans and 5 bananas. I *will* stick with the vanilla cake mix instead of yellow, as I think it allowed the banana flavor to come through more. Thanks for this super easy and quick recipe that *almost* rivals the not as easy and not as quick versions!
